Here Comes the Bride!

MDO Socialites Birthday Cards - January 2011
In January 2011 we formed a Social Club at work. Since we are in the Managing Director's Office, we call ourselves the MDO Socialites. At the end of each month we have a combined birthday celebration for all of the Socialites celebrating within the month. These are the cards that I made for the January B-day Socialites.

My 1st Cricut Paper Cake
Hhello to everyone in the Blogosphere!
Today, I'm sharing my very 1st Cricut paper cake. Unlike Shantel, this didn't take me 9 hours to complete, lol. I love my cricut! I filled each slice with candy and gave them out to family and friends for Valentine. The cake slices were also accompanied by a stuffed, singing butterfly, ladybug or bee... I thought they were just too cute.

Lynrenshay's Birthday Party Invites
So, my niece Danielle came home from school on a Tuesday and tells me that her friend wanted me to make some invitations for her b-day party, which was that Saturday!!! All I could think is that Danielle nor her friend were serious.
1. Did they realize that I have a full time job???
2. Did they really expect me to make them for free???
After telling Danielle it wasn't going to happen, she decided to make them herself. Need I say more? LOL. Anyway, in the end, this is what I was able to put together quickly using my cuttlebug. According to Danielle, her friend loved them so I guess all is well that ends well.

A Celebration of Friendship
Hello Bloggers,
Everyday I thank God for blessing me with the best and most thoughtful sisterfriend that I could ever ask for. Not everyone can say that they have been fortunate enough to have a friend like my sister-friend, Shantel. That being said, I would be remiss if I did not showoff the scrapbook that Shantel gave me for Christmas, celebrating our nearly 20 years of friendship!

Happy 5th Birthday Kiarah!
This is a gift bag that I made for me grandniece Kiarah. She loves Hello Kitty so naturally she had to get a Hello Kitty bag. I used my cricut expression and Hello Kitty Greetings and Hello Kitty Font cartridges to decorate a plain white craft bag. This was a super simple project and I hope you like it as much as she did!

Where did all that time go???
Hi Everyone,
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but that doesn't mean I haven't been crafting!I have just been so busy at work I havn't had the time to keep my blog updated (and just to think that was one of my New Year's resolutions). Anyhoo, from now on I promise to do better:-). I have ALOT to share with you over the next several days so let me just get to it.
Gee, I can't believe that I haven't even posted my Christmas cards yet. These are wayyyyyyyy overdue but hey, better late than never!
