My 1st Cricut Paper Cake

Hhello to everyone in the Blogosphere!

Today, I'm sharing my very 1st Cricut paper cake. Unlike Shantel, this didn't take me 9 hours to complete, lol. I love my cricut!  I filled each slice with candy and gave them out to family and friends for Valentine. The cake slices were also accompanied by a stuffed, singing butterfly, ladybug or bee... I thought they were just too cute.

Lynrenshay's Birthday Party Invites

So, my niece Danielle came home from school on a Tuesday and tells me that her friend wanted me to make some invitations for her b-day party, which was that Saturday!!! All I could think is that Danielle nor her friend were serious.
1. Did they realize that I have a full time job???
2. Did they really expect me to make them for free???

After telling Danielle it wasn't going to happen, she decided to make them herself. Need I say more? LOL. Anyway, in the end, this is what I was able to put together quickly using my cuttlebug. According to Danielle, her friend loved them so I guess all is well that ends well.

Pretty Collar Bow
