My Very First Blog Post!

Hooray, I did it. After months of saying I'm gonna start a blog I've finally taken the plunge and made it happen today! Truth is, I  honestly don't know how I'm gonna be able to keep this blog current since I already don't have enough hours in my day, lol.  I guess I'll just have to figure that out.

My very first post is dedicated to my Sister-Friend Shantel, who introduced me to the world of scrapbooking and card making. For some reason she is always looking for masculine cards (hmmm) so I made this one especially with her in mind.  Shan, this one's for YOU!

The card was made using my cricut expression. The tuxedo is from the Cricut Wedding Solutions Cartridge and was welded using design studio. I embossed the shirt with the Cuttlebug Christmas Cane embossing folder and added bling and pearls. To complete the look, I added a boutonniere using a rose and some ribbon that I had in my stash. The glossy paper is from JoAnn's.

It was a wonderful tribute to Scooby as I can still remember the functions I attended where he DJ'd and the dance moves, the art classes at TG Glover. RIP Noel.
