Silver Bells, Silver Bells

Okay, so after spending the better part of my Saturday afternoon setting up my blog, I was just too tired to post anything yesterday. But hey, since I posted my card so late on Saturday I think that technically counts for Sunday too, lol.

What a rainy day it was today! There was nothing but liquid sunshine in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas today.  Despite this I still had a great Monday, which by the way was much funnier than usual. Anyhoo, the workday finally ended and I couldn't wait to get home and get back to my blog. Lo and behold, I had two unexpected  visitors and even had my very first follower, who by the way was NOT Shantel. Shan you have a whole lot of making up to do Sisterfriend!!!

Karin and Julia thanks so much for your warm welcome to the blogosphere. Both of these ladies are very talented and  have great blogs. You can check out Karin at http://karinsartscrap.blogspot.com//  and Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/.

Today, I'm sharing a card I made a few weeks ago with the intentions of entering it in the Fantabulous Cricut Blog Challenge, Christmas in July challenge, but somehow I missed the deadline. Oh well,  maybe next time.
Christmas is still my favorite time of the year.

Here's my card.

For the base I used a white linen carstock, layered with a glossy black cardstock then added another white layer, which I embossed using my cuttlebug and the Allegro cuttlebug embossing folder.  The music notes were also cut with my cuttlebug and the cuttlebug music notes 1 & 2.  The bells and font were cut using my cricut expression and the cricut Wedding Solution and Lyrical Letters cartridges. For the finishing touches I added a bow, some stickles and some bling. Don't you think it's just jazzy and just makes ya feel like dancin'?

Hey! Now I remember why I missed the FCCB challenge. While I was searching for the bells for this card I came accross the Tuxedo, and immediately got distracted. Am I the only one who loses focus so easily??? I sure hope not.
